This cute, simple and quick recipe from Prjóniprjón is now available in english for free. It‘s a nice project even for beginners:Yarn: Dale baby ull or any other soft wool for needles size 3 (US3), 3-4 colors
Needles: 40 cm (15 in) round no. 3 (US 3), a single needle no. 3 (US 3), for the double binding off).
Sizes: 1-3 months (4-6 months) 7-12 months
Cast on 80(100)110 st. Connect in a circle. Work 4.5cm (1.8 in). Purl one row. Change color. Knit until the hat measures 16(18.5)21cm (6.2(7.3)8.3 in). Turn the hat inside-out and bind off accordingly: hold both ends of the circular needle in the left hand and the single needle in the right hand. Knit 2 stitches together with the single needle, two times. Now you should have two stitches on the single needle. Slip the first stitch over the second. Knit the next two stitches together, slip over, etc. This way you close the top of the hat while binding off. Make two pom-poms in cute colors and fasten on the corners. It doesn‘t get much cuter than this!
